All deliveries will require that an adult be present to inspect and sign for the shipment. Under no circumstances can the items be left outside of the house or apartment unattended.
Basic Home Delivery includes delivery to the driveway of your home or office. The driver will offload the goods from the truck, and bring them into the first dry area of your building such as a carport or garage. If you would like upgrade to White Glove Home Delivery they will take your furniture into your home or office; the added fee is $40. Please keep in mind for Basic Home Delivery that you may need someone to help move your furniture inside, assemble if necessary, and dispose of all packaging. If you live in an apartment building the furniture will be brought only to the lobby or freight dock, our recommendation is upgrade to White Glove Home Delivery Service to bring your items into your home.
White Glove Home Delivery includes delivery of your goods up to and inside your home. There is an additional $40 fee added to your shipping cost for this service. OC Furnishings is not responsible for assuring your furniture will fit inside entry doors or interior doors. The delivery team will attempt no more than 3 times to fit the item into your home. If they are unsuccessful the item will be left at the front doorstep. If the customer no longer desires the unopened item there will be a 20% restocking fee.
Should you miss a scheduled delivery attempt, a second attempt/delivery fee will apply. It will be made that same day; we will not store your merchandise. If you anticipate not being present during the delivery please contact our office immediately to delay shipment until someone is available to accept delivery of your furniture. Upon delivery, be sure to inspect the shipment for damage before the driver leaves.
All shipments are fully insured while in transit only. If there is visible damage to the packaging, you should immediately open the packaging and inspect the product for damage. If there are visible signs of damage contact our office for further instructions. If you reach us outside regular business hours, please accept the merchandise but immediately contact our office and leave us a message and we will contact you the following business day. Notate the damage to the item(s) and the box(es) in detail on the delivery receipt. It is important to be as detailed and descriptive as possible on the delivery receipt before you sign for your items. A signature indicates acceptance; without inspecting the boxes, you are accepting the shipment "as is" and will be fully responsible for any replacements (including freight) or repair costs. Ensure you also verify the number of packages delivered with the delivery receipt you receive. As packaging differs from manufacturer, do use caution when opening your items to prevent scarring from knifes or misplacement of instructions and hardware. Should any damage be discovered please keep the shipping carton and inner packaging. Replacement of damaged item(s) will be done only for that exact item and model number.
Important: Once the order is shipped you can no longer cancel or modify the order. There will be a $50.00 processing fee for any change of address requests submitted in the event your order has already shipped. It is the customers' responsibility to ensure the furniture will fit through hallways, doorways, or any such pretext. OC Furnishings will not accept returns or be held accountable should your order not fit into your home, or should damages occur due to improper measuring. No additional fees will be charged without notifying the customer and obtaining prior approval.
THERE IS NO REFUND OR EXCHANGES ON PURCHASED AND ACCEPTED GOODS. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
